weird avilr file missing

DID something go wrong with the install this is starting to frustrate me big time. any help would be appreciated

The file is avilrl32.dll. I cannot even open BF2 uggh does this mean another uninstall and reinstall?

Are you sure that is the correct name of the file?
google suggests "avifil32.dll" to be right. If so how about downloading and putting it into your windows/system or windows/system32 directory. That might help ?
