Hi guys! Congratulation with the release!!!

But yesterday I discovered something strange, I want you to help me solve it ASAP if possible.

Well I Lauched PR0.95 My first may on this update was Kokan, I was in full quality 1680x1050
HIGH TEXTURE HIGH LIGHTS HIGH EVERYTHING, 100% View Distance, well you know the deal...

End of the round switch to Gaza... and Impossible to load It keep crash arround 90%-99% (Back to destok, faster than any Alt F4's...) I uninstalled/reinstalled the game 2 Times, putted settings rather much lower, decrease view distace texture etc etc etc ... But I still cannot play It?!?

I tried all the following other map in full HQ they work with NO problems:
-Kokan
-Lashkar Valley
-Burning Sands
-Kashan
-Silent Eagle
-Iron Ridge (This one used to bring me some prob in full HQ, but now it 100% fluid!!! )

So what's wrong about Gaza Beach ?!?
I don't understand where my problem might be...
( I downloaded the officials Realitymod Torrent Links)

I have same problem, but on other maps... i cant load Iron Eagle and few other new maps i get CTD to in 90% loading time, but so far for me old maps works fine... i

EDIT : i just try to play Gaza, cant laod map to... =(

That's the only one that bug out when loading... Even on "Doom Texture" setting xD
I mean come on!!! ^^ I can play Lashskar, Kokan, Iron Ridge, Dragon Fly in Full HQ

It's just the messy Gaza map but I still want to play It sometimes!!!

Hope someone will bring field dressing on this

I have had these problems since v0.917. I used to play 0.85 on full high settings and for any map to load in 0.917 I had to turn my Settings down to medium / low.

Bf2 don?t please the eye on medium / low.

I Stopped playing PR because of this - well, Spontainious CTD ingame and by 99% loading made it unplayable.

Have any of you tried running in windowed mode to get an error message?

Instructions:
* right click your PR shortcut and go to properties
* In the Target section, add a space and then "+fullscreen 0" (if it's already there and set to 1, just set it to 0)
* To switch back to full screen, just set it to 1 instead of 0

Hey Bloodbane I tried to do what you said but got no error displayed.

So far now It happens on Gaza, Wanda, and Iron eagle.

It seems to happen right at the end after or at the end of loading textures.

If there is a way for me to get you more info please let me know.

Oh and Congrats on .95 even with the little issues it still ROCKS!!

Hi, I get the same problem with Burning Sands & Iron Eagle...
It used to happen to me on sevral maps back in 0.917

There is a slight chance that the installers are corrupted. If you are using torrent try "Force Re-Check" (?Torrent) or similar integrity checks. If you did not download the torrent version try checking MD5 or SHA1 check sums.

I have attached files for your convenience to use with MD5summer (Home of the MD5summer). Make sure to chose the right .md5 according to which files you downloaded.

Hi, I used that MD5 and it found 1 error in the first part, it said something about Checksums did not match..

What can I do to fix this ?
Maybe could someone upload the maps ??

It will be ill-adviced to only download the maps as there maybe more files corrupted which do not show by means of PB messages. Therefore I suggest redownloading/repairing the corrupted installer and completely reinstalling PR.

There are programs (Download Managers like FDM and GetRight or Torrent Clients like ?Torrent) that can "resume" already started downloads - effectively repairing your files. If the corruption is not too severe either of those might only need to downoad a few KB.

To do this:

1. Start a new download of that file.
2. Then terminate the download manager.
3. Go to the location the download manager saved the file to and replace it with the corrupted one.
4. Restart the download manager.
   (it should now try to continue/resume the download)

um. I am confused....Do I have to uninstall the game (again) then reload the torrents?
EDIT: I can a check on the torrents, and they all checked out fine. Still crashing though.

review:
Crash to desktop on Gaza and Iron Eagle loading (usually at around 94%) No error given. Windowed trick does not work. Torrents checked out fine.

Does Gaza run in COOP for you vs bots or still crashes?

Alright I just tested this.
If I do a Co-oop and play on Gaza with bots, I can load in fine. But the standard INS gaza map does not. I crash during loading, as with Iron Eagle.

I tested this again. Gaza works on "skirmish" (tested on empty server) but the INS mode does nto work.
Iron Eagle does not work at all.

Ok mosinmatt I'm going to need you one last time.
Go to battlefield2/mods/pr/levels and copy the entire gaza folder to a safe location.
enter server.zip, navigate to:
server.zip\GameModes\gpm_insurgency\64
open that .con file with notepad and click on CTRL+H at the same time, in the find what box type "idf_apc_namer" and then click on replace all.
Save that file and make sure that the zip archive is updated with it and then try running Gaza in insurgency 64 mode and see if it works.
If it works I want you to restore the original gaza folder and once again enter server.zip\GameModes\gpm_insrugency\64 and open that file again, CTRL+H and in the find box type "idf_apc_m113_logistics" and click replace all, then another CTRL+H and in the find box "idf_apc_m113",its important that you do it in this order make sure to save the file.
Then try running it again and see if it works
Make sure that after your all done restore the original gaza folder or it will crash whenever you try connecting to online servers with odd errors.

I know its allot of work but its worth finding the cause so we can fix it, the only thing that was added to Gaza in this version was the Namer APC, other changes are just removing some grass and changed sky.

Ok, I did the first part. But I couldnt find a server with a 64 that I could get into. They will have a 64 icon on the left hand side right?
I tried a regular one, and it still did the same thing.

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, do not test it online! you will crash regardless! test it in local, I'm assuming your crashing in local aswell?
