So how does the whole alternate weapon for kits work?

I missed out on a lot of stuff, been gone for a while, came back to PR about 2 months ago and downloaded the new version, and I kept having people ask me why I didn't pick up the SAW with no RCO and I was confused what they meant. Then I finally saw someone with no RCO on their weapon and thought "thats cool, how did he did do that?"

So basically just how do you pick an alternate weapon loadout and which ones are there?

Right click on the kit you want instead of left click when requesting it from a crate. You can't spawn with an iron sights AR currently, you can only get it from a crate.

virtually every kit except the crewman and pilot kits have some kind of alternate primary weapon upon request.

Some are entirely different weapons, IE officer kits for insurgents/militia IIRC have different weapons.

Some are common changes, like An ACOG left click or Red Dot/Irons right click.

You could look into Fh2 style kit alternatives so you can spawn with iron sights.
