This thread is basically to thank the Devs and nominate the map you like the most and a couple of reasons why and if you want include some asset changes.

My favorite new map is Kokan because it is one hell of a battle zone, the possiblitys for strats on this map is amazing to me.

First off the U.S. side starts off with 10 hummvees and 2 kiowas and a blackhawk. Can you imagine the destruction this convoy of assets can cause if it was put to use in the right way, with the whole team participating in one huge full scale atack. Damn i just nutted thinking about that. haha. The village placement on the map is nice to, they resemble miniuture fortresses that need careful planning to be atacked or you will be pushed back every time.

I would love to replace the blackhawk with the Apache, due to the fact that the blackhwak gets shot down alot on kokan.

Burning sands comes in a close second because of the detail on that map, everytime i play it i feel like i got off a flight in the saudi arabian desert and its hotter than shiet !

Kokan for me also... I think the balance is about perfect asset wise. The fact that insurgents can spawn 500m out from the US main on an unknown really mixes it up for the us on where to attack from and how. always a good mix.

I voted for Wanda Shan - I like that there's now a China v Russia map, and I just love the maps full of big rolling hills. Also, all the forests make for an awesome time setting up FOBs where tanks and APCs won't just drive right up to them, which isn't really possible on most 4K maps thus far

I voted Kokan, because, fighting the Taliban there is very epic at times, and it's not too big.

I'm not voting because I sadly can't get the promising looking Burning Sands to work.

Only got to play Kokan alot. It's awesome of course, but I'll wait a bit. It's small, perhaps the large maps have more lasting appeal.

Iron Eagle, love larger scale maps with asset support (I'm not an armour whore, do inf most of the time ), I also love how the IDF is pitted against the MEC.

Kokan would come in a close second because of the long-medium-close range firefights that break out sporadically, and the excitement of clearing out a compound where the Taliban can pop out from the numerous corners and spray down an entire squad.

Kokan, every building are awesome, very nice to defend and a very nice game play with US.

I love Burning Sands. It's like the perfect combination of Kashan and Ramiel. I just wish we could use 128 players.

I also really like Iron Eagle. The tricky terrain makes ambushes easier, so you never know what's coming around the corner.

Kokan is fun, but it feels like too many other Insurgency maps for me to be new and exciting.

Wanda Shan I have yet to play. It crashed a lot for me.

I'm back at college from my fall break, so I won't be able to play until Thanksgiving, but hopefully by then, things will have been ironed out and we can get a better look at these maps.

Haven't really played much of Burning Sands because I CTD on that map

ill go with iron eagle, almost voted kokan.

Kokan 100% That is just fun for both sides. I don't know why its just so balanced in my opinion that both teams have the chance to have some epic *** moments.

Koka(i)n is my favorite new map too.

ave only played Kokan so far... Don't see how it's that special. It's a nice map, sure, but havn't we been spoiled with this kind of maps? Feels like Korengal without hills, or an mix of Lashkar and Asad. Please explain to me how it's THAT good as some people obviously think!

Looking forward to playing Wanda Shan the most - looks like a slightly better and more atmospheric version of Yamalia.

Kokan is a beast! Those spawn rooms are jizzy, though i haven't played Wanda Shan yet.
