[0.957] US Sniper Scope issue

Not sure if its a bug or a feature, but back in the old versions the sniper scope used to have an additional horizontal line, so it formed a cross with the vertical line...
I could still hit perfectly fine, but still it looked strange to me so I thought I post it up.

ye what it looks to be to me. If your screen rez is really 1024x567 then you should try increasing it if possible.
One down side to thin mesh reticles like these is on low rez this can happen although most people these days have quite a high screen rez.

I got 1920x1080 with everything set to high, except from dynamic shadows, so that shouldn't be the issue

perhaps related: on the british acoq version I sometimes have double red horizontal lines beneath eachother(inverted croix lorraine) and sometimes only a cross, running on medium with 1024/768 res so I thought it was just my low settings.

I've noticed this issue myself. On certain rifles (like the m40a3), the center of my horizontal sight is missing. However on other sniper rifles (like the m24), my crosshairs are fine.
I'm running max everything, AA turned off, resolution is 1920 x 1080 @ 60hz, and view distance at 100%
additionally: At certain angles my mil-dots and horizonal line on other sniper rifles will disappear.

That might be a contributing factor, try turning it up to 2x or 4x to see if you can see the scope lines then

I get this as well some times, it's like the games tries to smooth it and it erases it or something. I will try to get a pair of screens showing what I mean.

I think thats the background-colors mixing up with the crosshair and the game has to decide what color the crosshair pixel will get - it picks the background sometimes.
Expecially at low res this should happen a lot since pixels are biiig.
