Are your VGA drivers up to date?

Doing the following always seems to work for me.

Uninstall.

Reinstall Bf2.. restart--start game --install 1.41 patch.
Restart comp--start game ---install 1.5 patch---restart comp
Install PR 0.957 part 1,2,3 restart.

If you crash after a map finishes loading then you need to turn your settings down.

Turn your video settings to medium and it should fix the problem.
Other guys i play with have also increased the page file to 8gigs when they can..

But the medium fixed me...and I have plenty of memory and running SLI so I dont think it is a computer problem.
