[0957] Bradley TOW on Kashan

I know about the 7-14 second rule where you have to stay still untill the TOW works but on Kashan you cant move at all, as soon as you move, the TOW gets stuck as opposed to the Bradley on Qwi where I was able to move it when the APC was moving.

Er, IRL the TOW would PROBABLY explode because moving would tangle, then tear the fine wire that is sending command information to the missile.
In other words, don't move at all. Sit still and wait for the missile to fly into the target, or just run away. It would probably make more sense for the missile to self-destruct if the speed is exceeded.

So thats why Cobra Helo's fire TOW with a moving speed of 150 mp/h ? Never seen one of theese wire's ripping apart.
I think he is writing about the TOW bug that is blocking the turret everytime.
APSD and HE Rounds are working but the TOW is blocked. Working for 10 seconds, blocked again.
Looks very stupid.

btw. The Cobra uses Hellfire missiles not TOWs.

What I mean is if your on TOW and you move a more than 1 meter you have to wait another 15 seconds for the TOW to work again (the turrent gets stuck when your mobile). This honestly makes the Bradely USELESS (we came up against a tank and the only reason we did not die is b/c he did not see us for the 15 seconds it took us to get the TOWs active and I assure you those were very long 15 seconds). You can move the turrent around when your on TOW in the BMP but you cant do the same on a Bradley on Kashan? this does not make any sense (again this problem did not occur with the Bradley in Qwai).

Er... IRL the Bradley cannot keep the TOW launcher up while moving without shaking it to an early death. Cobras that had TOWs had to either fly directly at the target, or hover to employ them, because anything else would pretty much mean that the wire would get messed up.
IRL, TOWs also have reduced range when you fire over water, the wire dips into the water, and eventually will short out the system.

The Bradley and BMP use different technology, so that is intentional (BMP is a barrel-launched ATGM, Bradley has a TOW Launcher).
Haven't played Qwai, didn't even know there was a Bradley on it...

The BMP-3 uses beam-riding tech to guide the missile (Missile looks back, sees grid of lasers, tries to steer within grid of lasers.), the TOW basically has a flare on the missile, which is seen by a sensor on the vehicle, which then sends corrections through the wire based off of the position of the flare.

you dont understand what Im saying... why do we have to wait 14 seconds for the TOW to load when you STOP moving? im fine with the fact that you cant shoot it on the move but it does not make any sense for the thing to be inactive for 14 seconds (again! this problem only happens on the Bradley in kashan...)

As said before, the launcher holding the TOWs must be set in the stowed position when moving, or else it will damage the launcher. Thus, once you stop, the launcher must move back to a position to allow the missile to be fired. In theory the one on Qwai is bugged.
