Description:
When using the rear view (default C) the camera goes spastic zooming in and out in weird places around the map, centering the player. The rear canvas cover also seems to move out the front of the truck about 10 ft.

We tried this with multiple players and everybody got the same bug.

Steps to Reproduce:
Simply jump in one of the logistics trucks and press C. This has not been tried with the transport versions.

GamingAU BigD Server 2.

Video Settings (if needed):
Lighting on low/off, everything on high bar textures which is on medium.

Yup, had this too yesterday. With the supply truck on Al Basrah. What he said.

Must be only specific to the Basrah truck, because it doesn't happen with the German ones on Lashkar.

will be specific to the BRITISH truck I would have thought as the gb_trk_logistics is used on all british maps unless Basrah is the only one to have the _cage

also it laggs like hell when you drive it around

i had the same bug as Psyrus, couldnt drive back for a csb.

Yup, have had this as well. It also unlinks you from Mumble, so it's quite annoying.

There are two trucks on Al Basrah (this map specifically, for the british and for the cage)
One does this
The other either crashes players or lags its way to tellytubby land.

Can you get out and get back in to re-link? I find that fixes it after everybody is unlinked at the start of a round.

I had the same thing last night on BigD2 as well.
However mine was nowhere near as severe, my rear view camera was only flickering to the top of the MAN truck whilst still looking backwards, and I wasnt being unlinked from mumble

Yes, it resets after you get out for a few seconds. But it's quite annoying to hear 30 people talking when you're trying to back across a 4 part CSB

I also noticed that when the unlink happens, you get unlinked from the game itself. If you zoom in on the map after being in the rear view for some time, the map centers on one of the corners of the map and not where you are.

I think it's not the cage that causes it. but the canvas.
driving the transport man truck causes no lag or any camera bugs for me so. i think its the canvas

It isn't the actual geometries of the truck, its problems with the coding of the camera itself, hence why this bug doesn't occur with the German truck which is the same but with a reskin.

Nah it isn't the same...
It's an other mesh, the steering wheel is on the left on the German version + few other details you will most likely not notice.

Got the same problem, made me CTD after a while in the rearview.
