So I've been playing BF2 for months, many mods, etc. Recently I downloaded 0.91, installed it, installed Framework, etc... But when I double clicked on the PR shortcut or .exe the hourglass pops up for a second or two but nothing happens. Not the little splash screen, nothing. I can run BF2 and other mods perfectly fine so I'm looking for a little help.

What I have Done (to save you some time)

-reinstalled BF2
-Repatched Bf2 up to 1.50
-uninstall/Reinstall 0.91
-uninstall 0.91/Install 0.95
-Gone through numerous stickies/forum suggestions
-Tried running it as Admin
-Zero Luck

Pent 4, 3GHZ
894 RAM
Windows XP SP 1


Error
Not sure if it's related but this is the error that pops up each time I double click the shortcut/exe

did you forget BF2 patch 1.41?

Nope got 1.4 installed I've done a fresh install/repatch several times now.

I am having a similar problem
I am starting fresh here.
I install BF2, patch 1.4, then 1.5
Install PR .95 part 1, 2, and 3.

When I try to start PR, it locks at the initial title screen and doesnt respond.
Specs: Win XP
amd athlon 64 X2 4200
2.21 Ghz
2GB ram

UPDATE: I got this problem solve awhile ago. Even though I installed Framework 3.5 several times it wasn't registering on my computer. After I un/Re-installed it several times I could open the .exe file. Thanks for the help!

I have the same problem with PR, but im not sure that i have the latest patches for bf2. I just installed it like, 2 days ago.

Also, i have windows 7 64bit. Could that be the problem?

I was having the same issue. After a fresh install of BF2, patching to 1.5 and install the 3 .95 updates, I opened vanilla. After recovering my account, connected to a multilayer server. After that I was able to get PR to launch Successfully.
