Unlinked in Mumble

When i get ingame with mumble on i can hear everyone on my teams mumble, I have searched and tried always starting mumble and connecting to the server before launching PR, also turning off all programs that connect with BF2, i.e. xfire. The only other thing i came across was when running vista of Win7 to make sure "mumble is run as an administrator". I dont know whether this applies to XP as well or how to run mumble as an administrator or any other fixes i can try.

My computer specs are:
Operating System: XP Home edition SP3
Motherboard: Asus P5E Delux
Processor: Intel Core duo E8400
Memory: 2x 1GB Crucial Balistics
Graphics Card: Saphire Radeon 5850 toxic
Sound Card: SupremeFX auido card

Have you spawned into the game yet?

You are unlinked until you actually spawn in game. At the squad selection screen you are still unlinked.

Ok so I had this issue until a buddy told me to prone once in-game, apparently it resets the mumble link. Every single time I've become unlinked since I simply lay down and it fixes itself. Give it a try.

Ive just been in game and tried the going prone solution, it may have worked as I tested it afterwards and only people in the area responded to me however it hasnt fixed the 3D audio -I.e. i dont hear people next to me louder than people 60m away. The person i was testing it with in game said that i should rightclick on the mumble icon on the toolbar and select 'run as admin' but there isnt any 'run as admin' option. I can only see

:-?
Any ideas?

The run as admin fix is for Vista/Win7. I have Win 7 and was always unlinked until I set it up to run as admin.

You have to right click the shortcut for Mumble and then you can "Run As", it's done before you open the program not while it is running.
