I saw another thread on Russian weapons that was closed and i just have to say one thing how can the PKM rite now which seems pretty close to vanilla BF2 be correct? the reason why i say this is YouTube - RUSSIAN PKM MACHINE GUN SHOOT

you look at any source on the internet any video and instantly you can see the huge difference in RPM compared to PR and also doesn't the PKM in game still have vanilla sounds...?

sorry about this but i have to say if the "military advisors" know anything about OPFOR weapons surely they can say hang on thats wrong...? i mean i've been playing PR for a fair old while now and after all the weapon changes in game its the only weapon that seems to still be lacking any change

okay rant over! just PLEASE! look into it :P

Friendly Regards UKWF PvtRamirez

Need sources stating the weapons cyclic RoF. Most I have seen state 650. In BF2, it can be either 600 or 900....so we have it at 600.

As for the model, we a new one hasn't been made...yet.

well as far as i know 650 would be the older models [Insurgency maybe?] but from what i've seen everywhere all modern ones fire at 800/850 rpm, would be nice to have a insurgent pkm and a russian one like the insurgent ak74 and the russian ak74 at the moment just a thought :D

And locked.

Firstly if you see a thread has been locked do not create a second to continue going over similar points (which have already been discussed). Doing so again will earn you an infraction.

Secondly, a youtube video is not acceptable as a valid source, whatever it shows.

Finally as others have said, it's being looked into.
