My fav's the ak-74 because of it's very low recoil due to slower rof, and it's stopping power. Best weapon for cqc engagements. Least favorite is the G3 of the MEC. That weapons not only ugly but I also hate the scope, can't hit shit with it.

I am all equally rubbish with them because I spend more time in armor than fighting with rifles.

M16 acog is terrible, aks74u is made of win.

edit: actually thats a **** answer. the reason why i think m16 is bad is because of networking. the threeshot burst rarely kills my targets, but the long range single shots are effective. however in the opposite way the aks74u has a very fast spray, tight grouping and the iron site apature is very neat and doesnt take up much room as you pan around corners. therefor most effective rifle for me to kill enemy squads is the aks74u, however i run out of ammo very quickly

I like any of the IDF/Hamas full auto M16s, they work well on those maps. Quite fond of the QBZ too now that I think about it.

Still loath the G3. Recoil compensation time measured in map cycles (with the fun side effect that anything more than 3 shots in cqb means you're an antiaircraft weapon), sight picture big enough to fit a tank in, but somehow always in the way. The scope reticle decided it wasn't as unhelpful as the rest of the gun and so chose to use a triangle for aiming instead of a proper crosshair.

Best = FAL

Worst = G3

Best: Tavor. Not my favorite, but the RoF on that thing means you can fill an area with so much lead you're bound to kill it. No rifle is better than it.

Worst: M-16 Irons (not Aimpoint but the actual Ironsight version), it's the worst of all worlds. It lacks stopping power, the sights are too fat and the rest of the rail takes up too much view.

And for mostly mentioned reasons as well as the enormous kickback I plain hate the G3 (except the marksman one since you can fire it deployed)

My personal favorite is the AK-47.

I love the irons on it, and its equally awesome with optics.
The G36 is up there too, but the Ak is my weapon of choice.


I think my least favorite would have to be the G3. I really want to like it, but every time I play MEC I think "Ah dammit not the G3 again. Please god let me get my MG3."

CQB AK 47 all they way the sights are perfect, and I'd say the M4 Iron Sights is by far my most disliked weapon due to its rather obtrusive rear sight not to mention it seems like the rounds tend to hit somewhere above what feels intuitive with other rifles.

For ranged I feel the dragunov is devastating, while the g3 falls to the bottom of the barrel due to it's awkward deviation cone at ranges.

I like the G3, quite a bit, only because the irons are very easy to use, and it seems to have the perfect stopping power.

Now, the worst must be the Lee Einfield Ironsights, just because.. bolt action + iron sights feel really strange.

Best : G3 (any), Flat out best for CQB ambush and make-do battle rifle
note : I love how people say the gun becomes "anti-aircraft" after a while. Who honestly doesn't try to aim at their target after shooting the first round?
Honorable Mention : Tavor-21 Red Dot, fantastic feel and ROF

Worst : Enfield 04, when unscoped it's pretty much worthless.
Honorable Mention : L85, the slowest 5.56, and it's native scope is the worst.

I used to hate the G3, but now its my favorite.

but the red dot scope makes it better

the worst is defenitly not the G3 no way. its too strong and accurate to be worst. people just think it looks clunky.

Absolute best, favorite Rifle of all times: M14 Iron Sights, which has been REMOVED with 0.957

Best in 0957: G3 scoped, 2 shots per enemy at MOST !

Worst: Tavor scoped, feels like shooting a pistol with a scope on it.

I don't think anyone has ever complained the 7.62NATO fired by the G3 lacks stopping power. The comments about it being an aa gun are, of course, exaggerations. Just because you aim at something doesn't mean hit it. You probably won't hit it if your gun is bouncing all over the place.

G3 is my fav the stopping power and accuracy is awesome. Once you get the hang of the rifle, you will start dropping people in cqc like crazy. Scope in and let the recoil take the bullets to the upper body. I love the G3 so much

Enfield is by far the most useless rifle in-game :/ The m16 is not the god weapon everyone thinks it is, I think its pretty average.

I think all the rifles in-game bring something special to the game, however the enfield was just designed to be ****.

Enfield is a killing machine on close to mid range. Enfield Acog would be nice though

In my taste Tavor my fav, very smooth. Worst is G3, can never hit anything with it.
