I took a break for a year due to moving house, and before i went away i spent a couple of months working on a specific map. i got the new version of PR, made my pr_edit folder, and unzipped all the client objects and added them to the editor. but when i try to load my map it crashes. what is the most likely problem that causes this and how do i fix it?

please help :(

when that kind of stuff happened to me I'd create a new map folder (named whateveR) then add my map's files to it one by one until the one causing the crashes gets added

try opening the map in editor minus your GPO's?

can you tell me if anything is missing? i can see heightmapprimary.raw is allready in the map folder. the only additional info i can think of is when i rebuild pr_edit yesterday I copied and pasted the map folder into PR, would that make a difference?

Have you given Rudd's method a go? Just create a new map of same size and start adding files, simplest way to figure out exactly what the problem is.
