i was reading some where and it said that bf2 will not have music in its cars/tanks ect like VN did, well can you guys mod into somthing where we can put our own files into a foldeir and we can listen to our own stuff while we play? i think it can be done i remember doing it on some game forgot the game, but it would be pretty cool listen to some of my music of the picking while kicking *** and taking names

I'm pretty sure they will, but if they don't, you could do what I do, turn the game's music volume down, and play your music on Windows Media Player or something like that in the background.

That's from a very, very early build of the game. I'd ignore it.

Its not in BF2, and i can't see the point of modding it in. Essentially it is a subsitute for non immersive environmental sounds, but bf2 seems to sound really good already, and hopefully this mod can do it even better.

yea i know it sounds pretty cool but it will get boring after a while and its always nice to have some music in the backround i used to just run itunes while i was playing 42' it would work fine if i run it will in bfv it lags

howabout we go the dcr route on this one: realistic american radio chatter in american vehicles, and i guess these are supposed to be professianal armies for other countries, so just put radio chatter in other languages for the other vehicles.

that gets boring quick

if you can put random radio chatter, then why not your own music? makes no sence to me, all though i can argue that its unrealisic but that doesnt affect game play at all if the user wants it or doesnt want it

Is it not better than nothing? I like it fine in DCR.
true but if it were a choice between the two id choose music
if you could listen to music while in vehicles in BFV why not expand it to when your just running about.

Well, just put on your MP3 player in the background. Nothing like playing Galactic Conquest with the Star Wars soundtrack...

thats wat i used to to in '42 and DC but in BFV it causes lag or something so im guessing BF2 will cause the same result

when you guys say it causes "lag", are you talking about running music in the background(windows media ect.)? If so I doubt its lag from the internet/server, its most likely your system is "lagging".

Seems like you have something eating up resources in the background... could be a virus, spam/ad/spy-ware.... Or just too many programs booting on startup maybe. You could maybe do a good old de-fragging on your machine to see if that does anything... (just some thoughts)

but still running a mp3 isnt good enough for me i want to be able to turn my music off with out mini-mizing it just makes no sence to me to do that just another think to eat memory, i only have 512 ill have a tough time, i want tobe able to turn the music off and on in the thing, well w/e maybe its a dumb idea but i think generally it would be a nice "add" to the mod
