Hi!

Me and my friends tough it would be good if all kits(almost) had pistols, just like they do in real.

During WWI, only high ranked officers had pistols so they could shoot retreating soldiers.
Today ... all soldiers have a pistol.



What do you think?

It's simply not true. A normal soldier doesn't get any sidearms and I'm pretty sure it's the same case in Sweden .

Just looked this up on google and it tends to be only officers and some LMG carriers who wear pistols.

In case of emergency, shoot them with your damn rifle.

It has more ammo, is more accurate, and is plenty for most soldiers. There are myriad good reasons why this particular suggestion is not only incorrect, but discouraged to make here. I'll leave those goodies to the moderator.
