I want to experiment will run better on windows XP but I have windows 7 and dont want to loose it and anything on it so how can I install XP without loosing win7 and how to install PR without overwriting the windows 7's one ?
and when I install XP do I need to install the drivers again and will they overwrite my Win7 drivers?
and also will 2 windows affect my PC performance except space?

I know how to install a fresh copy of XP with formatting but I've never installed "parallel" windows!



And also I am looking to buy a cheap but solid enough CPU, can you recommend me one?

The safest way is to get another HD for the XP install. Google for 'duel' O/S boot.
Remember there is a reason those out front of everyone else are said to be on the "bleeding edge".
