AAV with FCS?

Hm... could be interesting to see Mosquill's ballistic compensation FCS implemented for the AAV's Mk19, no?
Default range could be dialed in via adding another weapon slot that would be a number pad to enter in range as necessary. There would be a boresight mode set that would zero out the range, then the ability to set range so as to be quicker on target.
Perhaps adding battle carry as a range option could be interesting:

What makes you think such a thing is possible?

Which way is faster, following your method, or simply zooming in and asking the squad leader (if applicable) what the distance is then adjusting accordingly?
Sure, its realistic, but it seems a bit pointless.

Range is displayed on the gunners HUD. As are the range aimpoints detailing necessary inclination of the gun.
Would be a lot of work for nothing in my oppinion to implement this system where it's not really needed.
Would be nice to see this implemeted on the mortars though, I know not necessary as there is already a system in place but would speed up fire missions when request are coming in thick and fast from varying distances across the battlefield.

The AAVP7A1 doesn't have any FCS. It relies on the reticle for drop compensation just like in-game.
Now, if it were a Stryker or any RWS mounted Mk19...then yes, I believe they use a FCS.

Has it been considered to treat all weapons used on things like the M1A2, T72, M2A2 etc use the same system as the grenadier. So we can have a more realistic ballistic trajectory, but still have an accurate cannon, while not being so easy to just snap shoot at anything?
Should help with sniping helis out of the sky and add a bit of skill/fun I think into tank battles.

It shouldn't be as manual as the gunner having to select from a choice of increments. It's much simpler than that in reality (for tanks with FCS anyway).
If we can get a system like this;
- Gunner points at target
- 1 key or click lases and calibrates the gun
- Gunner fires
Mosquill could probably chip in here, I don't know how his PoC FCS worked but if it was like that...I'm all for it.

It did seam to work that way in his video I think, maybe that was the 2142 engine, though he has brought many things over, perhaps it is possible.

I know for a fact that its possible with hacks. But might not be the best suitable option.

TBH, I think that the current vehicles are too close for FCS in anything but the Stryker Mk19-equipped ICV. If that's in, then the vehicle should probably have both ballistic compensation and lead compensation. The Mk19 is extremely effective, you just have to get the rounds on target.
