Is it possible (and is usefull) to use the marksman or AT (Or Even HAT) kit while in a chopper?
I mean your make like in those operations in television when you see those guys covering the terrain and using sniper rifles in the chopper!

Just tryed that and it was fun to do and tried the HAT and killed 2 tanks (against bots off course) but it works!

Just want to know if you already tried this on a server against actual people and if it works!

off course guys i'am asking just for fun if you consider this as a SF thing that you know PR is not about dont flame me ok!

The MD5 of the PR files are just like the post on this forum.

When you are in a vehicle, the deviation is zeroed. You should try fly in barracuda on the side of a chopper firing the M249 :B

Yeah Ive done the Flying HAT thing a few times on Kashan. Got some nice kills out of it too.

And do you run TR.exe before you run PR? That always works for me..

I remember the 0.6 times... Just took a SAW and told the pilot to cruise around the VCP, mowed down those rag-heads! Good times.

Killed a few fobs with C4 dropping, but in practice its not a very useful method and leads to a waste of assets more than anything.

I've sniped out of it in Co-op. great fun Can't really kill anything though.

Gunning on mutrah with M249 on the side is really fun and it works!

Using the Helicopter as a demolitions platform is an interesting way to play.
Although, I don't think it's allowed on many servers, Just fly over a planned C4 (or ied/etc) dropzone, then you drop it, fly out of the "killzone" of the explosive, then detonate

I never told you this, but you can use a HAT as sort of a front firing rocket. Sit in middle seat, face forward, aim down sights, have the pilot dive on a target, fire, release, fly away.

Don`t do that! its totally SF to use transport helis as gunships. You may kill something but usually you just end up wasting more tickets than enemy lost.
Also, transport helis are important assets on many maps and especially on barracuda, jabal and muttarah you will lose easyly whitout them.

Dont do it.

In MP, youll go down with the chopper.

One thing that is not tabu is para drop from them, when you are issued with parachutes as part of the normal kit. That is very effective and you don't risk the transport chopper.
