Alot of problems please help :)

So one day I'm on youtube and I see a video about this mod, I liked the vid so I watch more until I decide I want to try it out. I have BF2 Vanilla and have always been able to run it with no fps problems or lag on High settings at a high resolution and everything with view distance to 100%, texture high, geometry high etc but without AA and high shadows,lighting.
I have patch 1.41 and 1.5 installed, pb updated to the newest version and installed all 3 parts of this game. Then I restarted my computer so it can run faster. I go on to PR and I join a server, and when the map finished loading I click the squad assign button and it takes 30 seconds to get in to the game, I was like "why so long" Then, before the map and kit screen comes up my screen freezes for 10 seconds, when it finally comes up my mouse is moving very slow and choppy, I ignore it, I chose a kit and spawn, I can't even more 1 step without lagging and having like 1fps. Then, I leave the game and go to graphics options, I make it 800x600, low textures, low terrain etc but i leave geometry high and view distance 100% so i can see. I join again and, you guessed it, bad framerate and lag, not so much as before but it's still unplayable, I tried to continue playing but after 5-10 minutes the game crashes when I die and the I just get onto my desktop, game turned off.
Here is my system specs:
Windows XP, 1022mb ram, intel(r) pentium(r) d cpu 2.80ghz (2 cpus), 8400gs graphics card 512mb ram, is this not good enough? any help& tips please! Nice mod but cannot play like this. Thank you.
