Hey there.
I have BF2 and i can play it on the Laptop, but i don?t know if i can install Project Reality in it.
I have the next system:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 / Service Pack 3
Intel(R) Pentium(R) M processor 1.86 GHz
1.86 GHz, 1,00GB Ram

_________________________________________________________________________

Now, i have another PC, that is better but it has Windows Vista and i have problems installing patches and the Project Reality.

The problem is the online login, while login in, it stops and goes back to desktop, so i can?t play online, but can someone help me out?

A mod will most likely move your thread here.

The laptop won't, CPU is an issue, 1.86 is pretty low. What exactly are the issues with patching on the Vista PC? Do they not launch? Have yo tried running as admin etc. ?

the one solution that I could think of is get a new computer (since I heard laptops are hard to upgrade) but I understand money could be an issue.

What resolution are you running on the PC that CTD's on login? List what hardware it has.

it should work just fine . .. you have enough ram for example i am using my laptop as of irght now .. its "USABLE" at times ... but mostly its very choppy its Very laggy and its almost impossible im supprised i am able to play as well as i am right now because of it . . but my specs are ...

laptop: 2.2ghz processor 2g memory but my graphics card and processor are what are giving me problems . . . . i need to upgrade my RAM to i think it says it maxes out at 893mb "hypermemory" what ever that is . . . . but if you played on full low settings like me ( im using med texture ) you should be just fine

Not necessarily. While windows is known to be more stable than vista it is not safe to say that everything will be better.

What brand is your lappy? Just google your model and ram upgrade and see what pops up.

From my experience this may mean that you have a graphics card with too low specs. I would just get a good computer or put this on your desktop.
