Is anyone able to log into PR right now? I'm currently unable to, and since I can't alt-tab out while it's at the "Connecting to Server" box, I have to do a hard reset in order to regain control of the computer.

Same here...
Happy to see that's only the log in server and not my install.

GameSpy Unplanned Service Interruption

GameSpy is currently experiencing an unplanned interruption of new sign-ins to the GameSpy Presence and Messaging service and reporting and reading of legacy statistics for older game titles that use it. Note that users currently signed in to GameSpy Presence should not be affected.

GameSpy engineers and support technicians are actively working to correct the issue as quickly as possible. We will provide further updates as conditions merit.

Also just hit Ctrl-Alt-Del and close BF2.exe to regain control of your system.

There you have it

Atlanta Falcons was trying to connect. As soon he tried the login server locked up.

I can't see the task manager to be able to do that. Probably just a quirk on my end.

Damn... I only get a couple a nights a week to play and I can't.

Pr logon server is down?

This is the Gamespy master server, nothing to do with PR. Only Gamespy can fix this issue.

Same problem here...........Glad even if its just a little that it isn't a problem on my end, I don't think I have the patience for anymore Computer problems with this old Dimension Desktop.

Still not working for me. I was not even aware that BF2PR was in any way connected with Gamespy?

BF2 is, and since PR is a mod for BF2...

Good, I thought the Iron Eagle CTD had borken my PR install!
But apparently it brokeded the whole Gamespy system instead.
