I find myself rage quitting more and more these days. i think its all the stress of different things in the game. when i quized myself on it, it seems i rage quit about 80% of the time. which, really is terrible. Im not the type of player that plays for 30 minutes and gets upset because my KDR is bad. im the type of player who plays for a solid 4 - 8 hours on the weekend days.

I play like crazy, then slowly the players who i started off with, get knocked off and they leave the game for one reason and another, and they are replaced by about 6 generations of squad mates until i realise i've played a half dozen matches and i've lost all interest in any sort of lead role. normally i'd be the first one to suggest retraction of digits from sphincters, but near the end of my temper i lose all interest and self motivation. (and the worst thing is i have only my self to blame.)

so what is it, am i spending too much time with my eyes glued to the screen? maybe i should take more breaks? Or is it that the other player's are driving me nuts? or do i suck at this game or what? i remember last year and the year before getting awesome scores, but some guy told me today i had world war one tactics rushing and getting slaughtered (he was correct, but i was in the mood to rush so i did it anyway.) does that make me shit or somthing?

In the end i get bubbling stomach acid, a twitchy lowerlip spasm, a sore *** from sitting too long and i really want to go and kick a dog or somthing to relieve some stress, but i thought PR was all about stress relief? was that a missdiagnosis?

At some point, PR just stops being fun and it becomes a chore. This is usually when I go off to play something else, or I just take a break for a day or so.

Yeah, too much cake isn't good for anyone.

i dont rage quit too often but when i do its because i am having major lag that just pisses me off soo much when i cant do a simple task of shooting a guy 10 feet infront of me ... missing his body by 2 feet in every direction because i cant get a bead . . because of the DAM LAG! . . . thats what gets me to rage quit but i cant tell you how often it happens not very

usually once every 4 hours played... my patience has a limit. If its an AAS map, doublely so.

Depends how the round is going but a lot less than I used to, for everyone its really dependent on how the rest of the team is performing.

Frequently, sometimes as much as four or five times a day. Usually it's during one of those rounds where no one can get their **** together, but I'm not unlikely to do it after any CQB fighting.

There's no benefit to playing frustrated.

Edit: Any forest map is an instant alt+F4. They never end well and simply aren't fun to me, at all.

I can play... probably 8 hours straight with a cooperative and teamworky team, but since they're about as common as unicorns these days, I average around 1 rage per 2 rounds.

I also refuse to play the bad maps, because I know from experience that it'll just end in frustration and a quit.

I don't usually ragequit unless:

a. My squad disbands (squad leaders or valuable players quit
b. I can't find my way into a decent squad
c. I'm not on my game that day and have a horrible KDR

Also, it probably doesn't count, but after a CtD, being kicked for "reserved slots", or losing connection due to packet loss, I take the opportunity to put down the game, saying to myself "Fine, I'm done playing anyway."

i've only rage quit due to lag, under most other situations its a CTD or some other forced disconnect. Which happens fairly often for me, but i usually get a good round in before that. It's a good reminder though that i've been playing for an hour and a half and need to get back to homework XD

It's the main reason why i havent bothered to fix the virtual memory error that happens on a second map load.

I got mad today when i was playing on a server which allowed players to operate anywhere. so the entire US team rushed main of insurgents and were literally shooting us in our supply depot. but the worst part is that even though the insurgent side is furious, the admin allowed it and even said. if you dont like it leave. that was enough to keep me off for 5 hours

Yeah pretty much the same here... also i rage quit, when i get harassed because i take a vehicle and the admins wants it.

I rage quit about 50% of the time usually due to all the friends I started the game with leaving due to their rage quitting reasons. Then I try to go do something simple like fly trans, and then get mega-raped because I'm the only pilot on a half-full server. Then go do something to help the team like actually use the cobra and then get teamkilled for doing so...

Usually when i lag out while flying a chopper and i end up crashing.
Otherwise i just leave when i get bored or get a headache

I rage quit at least twice every day that I play. The most common reason is when all the great players I managed to squad up with for the past few rounds leave and then I am left with the noobs and asshats.
Other reason is almost always on insurgency: for some reason when I play insurgency I can't do anything right and end up dying every 10 minutes.... who wants to play like that??

I was there when all this happened.
Fighter and I were the only pilots, and we were in the all-too-common position of having a bad team that still demands its pilots be the best.

Anyway, yeah, this is when I usually quit.
Once, when my teammates were being super-a**holes, I bailed out of a full chopper I was piloting when it was about 800 meters above the water.
Noobish, I know, but that was a long time ago.

Play on servers where you know alot of people, join a "community".

Mumble is good too.

If you want to avoid raging, but you feel like you dont give a rats *** about anything. Stand up, get a glass of water, maybe some food. Might just be your a little hungry or thirsty.

Also, if you play with people you know, in a mumble server. Good games are more common, like every 2nd or third round, so try to get on mumble and get to know people, get their xfire.

I usually ragequit when ive been kicked by PB like 14 times in one hour. But that was long ago now, and i usually have to leave after 2-6 hours, cause my wife wants my company

I normally only play one, maybe two rounds at a time. Then I leave because I do not want the game to become boring, and often I'm tired around that time anyway. Which means the only reasons left to rage-quit are things happening in game that have the potential to ruin my day, such as teamkilling etc.

As I can fly CAS Choppers and Jets better than doing the infantry part I only rage quit if it comes to an Infantry fight (or skirmish round) and I get wiped out several times by some lone wolf! -.-
