Just like the title sais, I recently upgraded to Win7 x64 and can't cant the patch to even open. I tried running in various compatability modes (xp and vista with all service packs) and in admin mode (even checked the 'run in admin mode' box), and nothing works.


I see the UAC accept or deny screen.
I see the process tree running patch 1.41 in task manager.
The process end about 10 sec later. No box, no error, nothing.

Disable UAC?

didn't work...

Download from a different source and try it again.

BF2 not updated to v 1.41 before patching with v1.5

Some have posted Updating with the
1.5 update
Sometimes does not complete, but looks like it does.
To find your version of BF2
run PR in 'windowed' mode
Look at the upper left corner
you should see
v.1.5.3153-802.0
