I've never come across this problem before...

So like if someone 400m away from you uses the 'Go Go Go' q-rose command then you'll hear it as well? They've been proximity based for me for quite some time now, so I don't know what to tell you :(

I hope you can get it sorted out... I have windows 7 and it works fine, so maybe it is to do with your configuration?

Some Commands you can hear from radio. Some others only when you are near. Perhaps you hear the radio commands. This is normal.

Otherwise somethink is messed up with your pr-install.

I remember in 0.3 i modded the commonclient.ini so i cant hear every radio spam like in BF2.

theres a common_server_zip in the pr mod directory. in this theres voice_messsages.con und the other voice files.

perhaps its messed up. i suggest to replace this file.

Is it possible that you are using some kind of sound enhancement. It filters voices and amplifies them?
Do you use stereo speaks but in windows' audio setting have 5.1 or something else selected?
Tried reinstalling sound drivers?
Looked into dxdiag?

not possible that drivers bring you nt radio sound in. it must be something in the bf 2 files. its only a variable in the .con files. how do drivers can influence this?

I know when i used SRS HD audio lab i couldn't hear anyones voip anymore, i could see them use voip and my own voip works but i just cant hear them. So i had to revert back to SRS audio sandbox which basically is the same but older and doesn't have such good quality but at least i can hear people talk.

Really an extreme enhancement though, i recommend anyone that wishes to get the most out of his audio this product.
