i recently modified the audio settings of the enemy spotted audio to 50%, now the bf2 menu cursor moves rly fast after pressing capslock compared to in-game moving crosshairs around

(this is playing in bf2 regular no mods

does this have something to do with project reality?

The mod shouldn't conflict normal BF2 in any way. It's basicly like running two different programs (well not quite, but still...) What you change in your settings will be saved to your profile so try using two different accounts for BF2 and PR if you run each game with different settings...
Did you change your settings in PR or BF2? I can't remember but there may be an option for the cursor movement for the map display...

it happens in squad menu, where the cursor moves really really fast,

i switch back to in-game play, and the cursor movement moves normally

this is in battlefield 2 regular game 1.5.0

I think you have better chances for help if you ask someone in a regular BF2 forum. This problem doesn't sounds like it's PR related. I can't help you anyway... Maybe someone else can though but I'm pretty sure your post will be moved to here: PR:BF2 Support at some point

I also have the same problem, thou iirc it started when I got my new mouse (M$ Sidewinder X8 ), all I do is turn my DPI right down on the squad menu then put it on normal when ingame. I think its to do with the BF2 sensitivity settings iirc thou.

i have the sys mouse settings turned to fastest cursor speed,

the setpoint software can change dpi in bf2 but the logitech setpoint cursor speeds don't match up to the games' cursor speeds.

other than that this just started happening, after a project reality crash into a hard reboot

i set all sensitivity settings in controls to 1.00 , pitch/yaw:2

do the falcon settings play into this?

it started haps in pr too

i have since overwritten the bf2 steamapps/common/bf2 folder with my backup, i think this just made the contents of the folder bigger in size.

it worked fine the past 2 years i've had the game with the same mx518 mouse,
