Hey, I bought3ds Max and watch alot of Tutorials but Im not abel to make a simpel weapon . So i want to ask you if you learned it with Tutorials with which Tutorials ? I know 3ds Max is a learn by do thing but ....

Yeah a gun is a good way to start. It is not overly complex and gives you a good idea of how everything works, how to model some of the small annoying details and generally how to save tris/model for games.

Personally, I learned modeling weapons a different way but these tutorials are a more 'traditional' and a better approach really.

Either way, it is all about spending quite a bit of time in the program and just learning where everything is and what everything does.

Yeah, I don't believe for a second that you went out and purchased the program for fun... If you did I have a bridge that I would like to sell you.

Yeah I doesn't buy it directly I only say it because than everyone says he hast it illegal or a shit like this -.- . My father has the program for his work (he is a Ingenieur).He allowed me to "work" with it because my father doesn't used it anymore and he used it one times till yet .So he can't teach me how to use it.
