More USMC?

hello everyone. i am Pvt about to be PFC in the US Marines. I am wondering why the USMC s getting weeded out of the fight. It just seems to me that all the new maps are for Brits, lets make some more maps with the most dominate force out there, maybe make a map based on the unit thats has taken over 20KIA in a month and many more casualties.
I believe 3n sangin valley, so maybe that would e a good idea....i know, if you want it make it...i am jsut suggestion this though.

USMC and US Army have plenty of maps. Plus, the SA80 is 1000% more sexy than AR-15 variants.

The USMC have quite a few maps, many of them are very popular maps played on many servers. The problem is that since the USMC and US Army are quite alike, they need to be grouped up into the same group otherwise the "USA" get many more maps than the other factions if we include the USMC and US Army as two different factions in terms of map numbers.
There are some new maps being developed for the USMC, but really if someone wants to see more maps for any one faction, its really upto them to develop the map themselves. All the tutorials are out there for someone to learn mapping etc, just a matter of putting the time in to make one

Majority of those are complete/near complete (all feature Marines), unfortunately due to so many BLUFOR factions being developed and completed, there is a lack of maps for them to feature on.
That is the problem, since 1/2km maps are easy to make, they are more suited as 'staple maps' for that faction, but since PR tends to be moving in the 4km direction, there are less being made by the community.

kill, ok thats cool. i ve been out of the PR community for a few months here, being i was at bootcamp all summer. I brought this up because i played a little .95 on boot leave a couple months ago and didnt notice anything new. i am glad to hear that like 5 more USMC maps are about done...i may make one too...jsut for kicks, if i ever have time to that is.
oh and realistic? 3-5 took over the AO from the Brits (just to prove my point
)
P.S. the Army and the Marines are nothinbg alike, the only thing the ame is they are from America..tactics and values are different.

I always thought the US Army and Marines were fairly distinctive equipment wise, if not visually so. Still waiting on that M110 though...
Anyway, there are more than enough US maps already, as pointed out - more Germany/PLA please. That said, I consider the US vs. MEC maps to all be amongst the highest quality ones in the game.

In game they aren't. The only differences are really in the vehicles which are amphibious, and that on sea maps the USMC can deploy from the carrier.
The guns are exactly the same bar cosmetics, they have the same voices, and pretty similar kit geometries.

Dtacs, they use M16s in game instead of M4s, along with some other differences.
Exterior, we know that the Marines and the Army are different from each other, but it wouldn't be fair for the other factions if the US armed forces had twice as many maps.
Since the answer to your question is basically "you want it, you make it" I'm going to lock this.
