(This may have been suggested before, but so what) I wonder why this hasn't happened already. I don't own a copy of BF2142, but I'd be willing to pick one up if need be. I'm sure many others would also do the same if PR were to jump to the 2142 platform.

Seems 2142 offers many advantages over BF2. Probably would work out better than wasting time on a mod for Arma2.

Mosquill has already shown off some of the advantages. Could also be possible to have a PR:hardcore version on BF2142, and PR Lite version on BF2.

You wonder because you aren't developing the game. If the devs wanted to move to a better engine, they would have.

Also, I suggest a mod add 'Project Reality 2142/PR on a different game engine' to the *** list.

now thats just arrogant as this has been suggested before, and it would be idiotic to "move" an entire mod to a completely different engine where on a fraction of the existing players may own copies of. unlike arma 2 which is a huge step forward this would be a monumental step backward as it would be demanding players pay out or get left behind.

As Dtacs has pointed all the reasons for not changing engine (and all the work that would bring) for such small gains are to be found in those threads.
