MOD-DB RESULTS

The Results are soon to come voting Just ended a moment ago Cross your fingers. . .

With Quick calculations
you can figure that with half lifes being the #1 modded engine in terms of Votes in the polls

Half life2 (21366) votes / 15 Mods = 1424.4 Votes per mod

But with BF2 there were only 2 Mods to vote from

BF2 (4607) Votes / 2 Mods =2303.5 Votes Per mod

But keep in mind that the Variations of votes per mod are VERY differnt from this quick little math equasion.
due to popularity where as for example . . FH2 only gets 1000 votes but PR gets the remaining 3607 Votes.

so its all up for time to figure out Which is the players choice for 2010

What do you think about the vote variations?? do you think that Half life2 mods all will get 1 vote per mod except that One Mod which has 20,000 votes? :O that would be pretty rediculious.

ARMA2 PR Top upcoming Mod

Forgotten hope 2 Mod of the year players choice

Mod-DB Says "It is hard to knock a good mod down, that mod without a doubt this year is Project Reality. However being previous winner means Project Reality has reached the highest point, so they cannot place again. Thats just how good PR really is!." . . .

I was under the impression that you couldnt win Two years in a row . . Not Twice in the whole existance of Mod-DB voting after the two year period is over. . . .

Romagnolo 6hours 50mins ago says:
OMG, LIES !

PR won again :D

Thought i would send a shout out for this . . . I agree and i chuckled when i saw it

Up until Jan 1st 2011 join us and help celebrate your community, culture and give thanks to the developers by voting for your favorite projects. For the first time in ModDB history we have a press panel which sees personalities from other websites like Joystiq and Rock Paper Shotgun have their say where it counts. Welcome to the 9th Annual Mod of the Year Awards.
Maybe we have to wait until Jan 1st then...?

I thought last year they released the results over a period of 2 weeks or so? I know the editor's choice awards were announced 1 per day, I can't remember for the rest.

Anyhow, I wouldn't bother checking the webpage too often, go play PR instead!

Well there is no knowing if pr bf2 is goign to be 1st 2nd 3rd 80th or what ever in terms of half life 2 each mod could only have a fraction of the votes soo all we need to do is wait . .

but i say we all get togeather and play this . . . LIFE game . . . but i vote dont let anyone fly the helis . . . . that could turn out bad for everyone

* Note that GES has just had a major release which is featured on the home page. PR always has far more players online than GES.

It's a shame that PR has so few ModDB profile members/watchers, with barely more than FH2 despite the massive difference in CR votes, visits and online playerbase. To become one you must click on 'Track This Mod' next to Mod Watch in the Profile section on the upper right side of the page.

Track PR Here

I sent a PM to Slick about promoting further support on ModDB by asking players to track it and vote on the community rating.

whats the big deal? even if it doesn't get mod of the year we still know it's the mod of the decade :)

More like mod of the fucking millenia.

Anyway, I don't think it would be bad if PR didn't win -- not that I think the team doesn't deserve it or anything, but it's clear the PR team has enough publicity, and development's going smoothly right now.
