Recently some friends and I were playing on Veterans Gaming Co-Op Server, and the map was on Muttrah City. With no other ground transport available at the time, we decided to make use of the humvee with TOW mount. After arriving at one destination, and sitting still for several minutes, the TOW still had not "warmed up".

Several group members tried to utilize the TOW but to no avail, and we eventually got demolished by a BMP.

You both had a driver and a gunner, and made sure that you didn't move at all? Remember even a small tap of W can screw it up.

Is it possible that it could have been a TOWvee for the bots?

is it needed to have driver inside the humvee to be able to use the TOW?

Hmm, some people need training on the new patch

You CANNOT move/drive a tow vehicle for 15 seconds, the vehicle must be completly stationary. Then the tow is moveable after 15 seconds, even having someone enter the vehicle will reset the timer and the deviation.

This was to stop people jumping in to TOW rape like on old patch on qwai river.
