Heya folks , recently i noticed that there is no cannon for Tiger at least not on Northen Lights , is there a reason why there is no cannon for tiger ? And the second thing is why we cant land the eurocopter on a helipad when playing Northen Lights , it just keeps flipping over , is it a buggy version of the chopper?

The German Tiger does not have a mounted 30mm, only the French version does.

Only, the French and Australian version.

Yes, but the Spanish use the same version as the French (and the same camo).

i land it fine too maybe just too fast vertical speed

No . After the first time i fly that chopper , i ended up with flipping over . And then i left the server and tried over and over again from a local server but everytime it kept flipping over so i hopped into a server, asked the others their response was: dont try to land the tiger on the helipad it'll flip over ?

It flips over only on the helipad? I manged to land it ones (barely) by just landing it like an air plane. But flipped over on take off... There is no way its supposed to be this hard. And dont say its because it has wheels, the havoc/apache has wheels too and everyone can land that fine.

Im a good pilot and id just killed enemy havok, i try to set down on the helipad and it just faceplants into the ground D:

Keyboard plus mouse, first time I've flown a Tiger, and I very rarely fly in PR at all.

How about u try it with Northen Lights map ?

one thing about that pic though is the gunner's optics are over the rotorblades instead of above the pilot. Is it like that on only a hand full of the tigers?

Cause my main problem with the tiger atm is that you just can't see anything beneath you whilst hovering, so you either have to dive or turn sideways just to get a shot off which makes me sad

The tiger is useless if you ask me. The only thing is can be used for is the attack of other attack choppers. And maybe some dead end speed runs into a group of soldiers while they are obviously covered by AA on the other side of the map.

The German Tiger should be getting this one in the future - Rheinmetall RMK30

Hum, that's an odd choice, why don't they use the French 30mm ? It's a proven weapon already used in Afghanistan. I guess they want to use German stuff, fair enough .

@Aimed: I think I already answered to this somewhere, the German Tiger has its camera on top of a mast unlike the other versions...

Read the link above it explains a lot. If you look at the French cannon it does look like it lacks something to block the recoil.
