Acer x193w hissing sound.

I got a problem here, something is strange with my Acer LCD screen, everytime I connect it it goes on and shows that all the cables are connected, and when I turn on my computer, the screen goes on for a while (2/3 seconds) making a 'sissing' sound and then goes off again.

While the screen is on, I can see the things that are happening like Windows loading bar and log-in screen but then it goes black.
The power button, wich is orange when there's no power and blue when there is power, keeps being blue.
If I turn off the screen by pressing the power button and turn it back on I get the same thing, 2 seconds active, sissing sound and again black screen.

Help would be really appreciated, need the screen so bad, though it's not a new one.

Pic related, the arrow points at the part where the sissing sound is coming from.

I had the idea of opening/pull it appart it, but there are no screws or buttons to open the screen

I think it may be a problem with the capacitors, happens with certain Acer and Viewsonic monitors. I had the same problem with a screen I found on the street, seemed too good to be true and it was.

It can be repaired but you'd most likely need a soldering iron among other things.

I'd advice against amaturly soldering on such devices as I see those as dangers at low success propability.

Finding the broken capacitor is usually quite easy.. you just go by sound. Figuring out which one to buy to replace it is another thing. And actually properly soldering it a whole new story.
If it is only a lose wire actually smacking the case of the screen near the source of the sound (carefully but not too softly) might (temporarily) fix your problem which could be indicated by a decrease in the noise.
(note that this used to work on a few of my old annoyingly loud sissing CRTs)

But acutally I think its broken and you should get a new one (having some one repair it is usually more expensive than getting a new one [unless under warrenty ofcourse]).
