I am really bummed at some these larger maps such as Yamalia, Wanda Shan,Berentz Invasion and etc. I love how big they are and full of detail however the lag is just a huge bummer.

Yamalia shuts my system down after a a minute or two, Wanda Shan I only get 50/50 lag when I play. The Berentz Invasion is fine from the carrier to the first flag but as you get on the mainland where the snow is falling its nothing but lag.

They are so problematic that most servers don't put them in the line up.

Possible fixes( I am no developer)
Yamalia= maybe stop the grass animation

Berentz Invasion= maybe stop the snow animation

Wanda Shan= I really don't see why this is lagging, I can't remeber if there is any grass or tree animations in it but if there is maybe cut it out.

I mean its a shame to make these maps and then no servers use them becuz of these problems.

And here are my system specs

Dual core 2.8ghz amd
8800 gt 512 mg
4gig ddr
80gig 10k rpm vel raptor hd
my internet connection is the top that ATT offers( I forgot the specs)

Wanda Shan is a known problem and barentz too, but for Yamalia...? Usually people don't lag in it.

In the previous patch Yamalia lagged, but not anymore.
Wanda Shan has just a "start up lag" as some call it. After a few minutes or after you leave your main you should be fine. If not, then your computer or connection is the problem
