Mumble + VOIP key

It happened a couple of times this week to play with people in squad who use the same key for mumble and VOIP, I find it very disturbing and sometimes it's hard to understand what they're saying as you hear them twice. VOIP is way much slower to transmit.
Why are you doing this? there is enought keys on your keyboard to set different keys for each.
If you think the same way, is it possible to add an advice on the mumble thread which say to set a different key for Mumble and VOIP?
Thank you for your attention, and merry christmas.

maybe they do it that way so that their non-mumble squadmates can hear what they are saying as well?

Yes, its very hard to understand, maybe its realistic since when you speak on radio also peoples around you will hear what you say.

But yes, they should be on separate keys.

it would be realistic if VOIP didn't had a delay.

I have my VOIP at B
Mumble talk at ALT and Mumble SL talk at the Application button which is a button next to left alt which isn't on every keyboard...
EDIT: I forgot to talk about the topic lol
I just want to say that I never encountered such thing but I suppose it is annoying if one VOIP method is slower that the other!
I remember this happening to me once on Teamspeak and VOIP and yes it was annoying!

I have mumble radio and mumble on alt, so that if I talk on the radio people hear me on local speech as well, local speech only on the mouse and ingame VOIP on B.

how does that work out for you? i was thinking of adopting it myself, so that squad members know to keep it quiet as i'm still talking over the SL net.

and of course because they'll think i'm a mad hatter when i appear to be talking to no one

What if you aren't in the SL channel though? Its a good idea but a seperate local speech button would be important.

I got worse, a guy with his mumble key as CTRL, so it was constant mumble, when I was speaking I was hearing myself trough this soldier lol.
