Mumble Problems

Hey everyone. I have been having problems with Mumble for some time. I have gone through the steps multiple times and not sure what I'm doing wrong.

problem: I can hear everyone talking.

I start mumble and join the PR server. I then select my gaming server and do not choose my team yet.

I then start PR, join a server, spawn in and then join my appropriate team on mumble.

any ideas?

thanks

What operative system are you using? If you use WIN7 or Vista, try to start mumble as an administrator.

Vista. I'll try that and report back.

Running as admin works 99% of the time.

Just so you know, you don't have to spawn in before you join your team.

I have the same problem, but strangely enough I alternate my output setting between direct sound and my X-fi card. When I start mumble and its output is Xfi, I change it to direct, and vice versa.

On top of my other problem, i reinstalled mumble etc again, only to have THIS problem now:

[3:21:17 PM] Opening chosen DirectSound Output failed. No audio will be heard.
[3:21:24 PM] SSL Verification failed: The host name did not match any of the valid hosts for this certificate
[3:21:24 PM] SSL Verification failed: The certificate is self-signed, and untrusted
[3:21:24 PM] SSL Verification failed: The certificate has expired

my information appears to be correct, could this be a problem with mumble itself?
