Is there any way to make the medikit_dressing like the medikit bag. So you wont have to throw it on to the ground to use it, but to just hold the fire key and heal your self? Just like in Battlefield 2 original setting.

You can heal yourself with the medi bag, just look at your feet and click (or at the sky when prone).
Field dressings are used to heal faster for emergency situations.

I think he wants the field dressing heal you just by holding click, instead of having to drop it.

I tried that and when I look down while stand/crouch and up while in prone. It don't do anything. Is there a delay that I have to wait until it takes affect for it to work?

You have to hold the LMB to do the healing action. It does not show the med cross when I heal myself. I hold the mouse button until iam back to normal.

1. Jump of a small building to start bleeding.
2. Get ur medic bag out.
3. Stand up, look down, left click.
OR
3. Crouch, look down, left click.
OR
3. Prone, look up, left click.

Simple as that. No need to make field dressing heal u by holding it in ur hand. A function like that already exists.
