Hello,


I just installed Project Reality mod and looks like i did everythink by instructions i have 1.50patch bf2 and newest pr patch. When i press to start pr exe sand clock appears for couple secs and dissapears with no reaction game won't starts. Any suggsestions?

Have you run Battlefield 2 vanilla yet?

Yes i Did and vanila works fine

have you tried running as administrator?
have you any startup parameters active? if yes, take them out.

Yes tryed Run as administrator still nothink. And i don't have interfacing programs.

Did you install patch 1.41 prior to 1.5?
Does vBF2 run ok?

As I sayed i did everythink by instructions and vanila worked fine in servers. I have on some games error entry point_except_Handler4_commo could not be located in dynamic link library msvcrt.dll mabe this have somethink familiar with project reality?

But
The newest PR (ver.957) isn't a patch. It is a 3 part full install.

Installation timeline

1. Install BF2
-----------------
BF2:SF Expansion | --- If you have BF2:SF, here is where it should be installed.
----------------
2. Install Battlefield 2 v1.41
3. Install Battlefield 2 v1.5
4. Install the latest PR Build (Currently: v0.957) Part1,part2 and part 3

Note you need to run the 1.41 and 1.5 BF2 patch even if your BF2 CD or online install claim it is already 1.5

I fully understand that I have made installation just like you writed i think theres problem with my PC mabe I should reinstall whole Windows XP

Some other things you can try before you uninstall/reinstall.
Backup your BF2 folder that's inside your documents folder. Once you have a backup delete the original from your documents folder.
Try starting PR from your PR shortcut
a new default folder is created
link to your online account.
If all goes well (PR starts) all you have to do to get your custom settings back is copy your 'control' file from your backup to the new profile folder.
path:
C:\Users\your user name here\Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0002
note: you may not have a 0002 folder so use 0001

If that doesn't work uninstall PR.
This can easily be done via the Windows Control Panel
'Add and Remove Programs' icon, under "Project Reality 0.957,
then delete the PR folder to remove any leftover files.
Path for Vista(XP lose the (x86) ):
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr
Backup your BF2 folder that's inside your documents folder if you haven't done so already. Once you have a backup delete the original from your documents folder.
Don't forget to delete the desktop short as well.

It is recommended that you restart your system after you install/uninstall programs
to ensure all installed components, files and registry entries are correctly installed or removed.reboot and reinstall it

Still nothink mabe i should reinstall windows

Problem was in Network FrameWork 3.5
