I recently purchased a new graphics card (Nvidia GTX 470) so that I can play PR again, my old one (nvidia 8800gt) gave out. I havn't played BF2 in a long time and when I go to play it it ctd at the login menu, same with PR. After I reinstalled BF2 it won't even load the game now. I even installed new GTX 470 drivers and nothing changed. HELP ME!! I havn't played PR since .9 *edit, other games work fine, it's just BF2/PR

make sure u install it in this order.

1. BF2
2. SF (if u have it, dont install booster packs)
3. Patch 1.41
4. Patch 1.5 (this includes the booster packs)
5. Apply the Alt + Tab fix
6. PR 0.957 1/3
7. PR 0.957 2/3
8. PR 0.957 3/3
9. PR Christmas Map Pack (Optional)
10. Update PB.
11. If u have AVG, go to the resident shield and make an exception for the BF2 folder in Program files and My documents.
12. Restart

and you're ready to go hopefully.

edit: also i recommend that u play on medium textures. I know the GTX 470 can play it all maxed out, but for PR play with textures on medium to avoid ingame CTD. vBF2 should be fine with all high.

Fixed, still buggy for SP but i don't play sp so, I'm satisfied, thank you!
