I guest, the UAV up there is just a projectile of commander vehicle, similar to the AGM114TV TTUnique mode ?
But i cant find any GenericFireArm , Camera , PlayerControlObject in deployable_commandpost_us;
so,How does PR commander system works?
Is it possible to create a UAV vehicle as the projectile of commander vehicle? Add PlayerControlObject , Engine to this one, then player can control this projectile fly free

I personaly would like to know the way it is done too, as I will most likely attempt to join the coding or atleast the mapping team (not that mapping is lesser then coding).
From my experience as player, and the controls of the UAV I would say that it is the same system as the player controlled smart missile from the attack helicopter. I came to that conculusion as it uses the same click system to steer. The only problem would be the altitude, but apearantly you can lock the Z-axis.
Although, for further details, there will still have to stumble an holy DEV onto this thread. I can also sugest that you take a look in the communmity modding section, and take a look into the codes yourself, but I wont guarantee that you will find it. I havent done it myself, as I simply cant fully read python. I might try it later though.

I don't know how it works personally, but I don't think the current UAV system uses a "Commander Vehicle Launched Projectile" anymore. The old system did, but since you don't have to 'launch' it from the ACV anymore(you turn it on via the Commander Control Panel aka capslock).
