New addition to the Insurgents arsenal

As this MOD is called "Project Reality", and it serves the purpose of creating an online gaming experience that emulates real battlefields, I, in the interest of "Project Reality" like to suggest a new addition to the iraqi insurgents' arsenal, BUT first, you must watch this before I can continue:
LiveLeak.com - IAI uses remote control cars for ied

So if you watched this, then the idea of an artillery IED RC (remote control) car for insurgents doesn't seem so delicious if I suggest it now, the basic principle is as follows:

1. Insurgents have an artillery IED RC car that must be big enough to fit an Artillery shell inside.
2. The RC car does not have an inside camera, therefore to guide the IED RC car, the operator must have naked visual view of the target (which poses a threat to him, since if he can see the enemy, the enemy most likely is able to see him).
3. The RC car must have a limited range from the operator, after which the RC loses the radio signal from the operator's controller (and comes to a halt), and the only way to control it is for the operator to come close wnough the RC car so that controller's radio signal is strong enough again.
4. It is a Special pickup kit that contains only the RC car (carried untill dropped to be used, can be picked up again, by the kit's holder, like the hook), and a makarov pistol.
5. Due to the sophistication of the RC car (for insrugents that is), it takes the operator 1-2 mins to rearm the RC car from cache.

And all the COD players will be like OMG RCXD :) And then start complaining why there isn't a 25 kill tactical nuke.

Interesting idea but will it really help that much?

AAS thread wrote:We are not accepting equipment suggestions (this includes everything: weapons, gear and vehicles) for any factions for which we have an MA or knowledgeable people within the team.

This includes both US factions, the British, the IDF, the PLA, the Canadian, the Militia, the German, the Hamas, the MEC, the Insurgent, the Taliban and the Russians.
Cheers.

Yes, armor is the biggest threat to insurgents, since this is an artillery IED, it can even destroy a tank, with this artillery IED RC car, the insurgents would be able to destroy the BlueFors' Biggest threat, ARMOR, this isnt like black-ops, if this is implemented in PR, it will be used against armor like in the video, not infantry.

wow, someone has been playing to much black ops. People would use the rc car for everything such as infantry and it will be overpowered not to mention that it isnt common. JUst because it has been done, does not mean that is is on a typical battlefield. really think before you post anything like that

plus the DEVS are not taking request.

Although this thread is bust, you will find that when making gear suggestions a common reply is to 'make it yourself', IE learn to model and develop the code on your own. The developers have a fully staffed team of Military Advisors who either server or are currently serving, who when combined have seen combat and have exposure to the worlds military technology, so suggesting gear is essentially pointless.

When making suggestions, ensure that you provide multiple sources that prove that it is a worthy addition to the game, this video is not enough. I'd like to see more proof that this is actually in widespread use in Iraq.

Someone has been playing too much Call of Duty ;) :p

Locking due to lack of proper sourcing, please also read the posts above mine as they will help if you consider making further suggestions.
