Hey, so my problem is, I cant see any ground textures. It doesnt happen every time, but usually it does this, I can see enemies through the ground, firebases vechiles etc. I have Club 3d radeon 5770 hd graphics card, win 7 64bit ultimate, ive tried everything, including running pr.exe as adminstrator, turning off the theme things from it, dont know the right term for that. Doesnt happen just on some servers, usually all... Ive re-installed PR, tried with lower graphics, update drivers. And yeah, I can see the ground textures when I use optics from weapons, but not binos. Heres a picture of the issue :

I got the same, I think it's Windows 7 or Directx11 related, my game "fixes temporary" if I just Alt-Tab and then go back to the game, you should try it too.

it also happens if you run the game in windowed mode

please use the search function.
there are at least 3 other threads about this bug, with several solutions.

These "solutions" helped only 1/1000 people

Indeed, of course I checked forums for solutions, but none worked.

anyway, theres no use in fixing the problem with a regular solution, since it suddenly appeared about 2 weeks ago .... it surely doesnt have to do anything with PR shaders, driver settings or windows compatibility options.
there has to be some kind of event whch caused this but globally at the same time... or nearly. i would appreciate if someone found out.

100% procent sure it's game- and OS-related, I see that 99% of the users who have this problem have Windows 7 as their main OS, also I noticed that Windows 7 has Directx11 in the package. So you can't choose what Directx to install, Directx11 will be installed automatically, whether you want it or not.

We all know that computers and software are almost never stable in some way, so my hypothese is that Directx11 is not compatible with BF2, or the other way around.

Also, my GPU doesn't seem to support Directx11, atleast that's what the official system specs say.

i got my computer 3 months ago, but the issue occured about 3 weeks ago.
i havent made any directx update in this time and i havent changed my graphics cards which supports dx11.
the only thing ive done which was related to battlefield and fits in the time frame is installing forgotten hope 2 v2.3 (which uses different sahders than vanilla and pr, and i had the bug both in pr and fh2)

Are you sure it can't be driver related?

im sure, the last driver uptade i did was in september

yes, and the only windows update during that time was for windows defender....

fix:

disable windows aero theme!

Not really, I set it too classic theme and I still got these things like dark weapons or fences that just dissappear while looking at them, but anyway, thx for your support, seem that I'll have to leep bumping.

did you try to delete your cache folder? (or setting a different resolution)? turn off AA

might also be because of videocard overheating. Ive had this bug too, a long time ago. I think it was actually on windows xp or vista. Just restarted pc and it fixed i think.
