I had to do a fresh reinstall, so I did it carefully. I put on a new Nvidia patch 260.99 and installed gamebooster.

I can now run like this:

3 = high

Where before I was on all medium (2).

Audio Hardware Medium

Vista 32 - Core 2 duo P8600 @ 2.40 - 9600M GT - 4Mb RAM with twin monitors.

A very happy result.

OH yeah!!
Just installed the new drivers and went from 11fps to 25fps on Unigine benchmark test.

Game booster is a win peice of software. Now, if only my monitor had a higher res. than 1280x1024...
