I just got my old pc back, after my sister bought herself a nice laptop. It's the pc I played PR on a couple of years ago. I've set it up yesterday, 'cause a couple of days ago, my wife said she wanted to try out PR, see if she likes it .

Unfortunately, the Geforce 7600GT I have is broken. It works, but it has these "lines" crossing the screen, similar to this. Not really fun to look at.

I'm currently stuck on a very old FX5200. As you understand, that's **** . Now, I'm looking for another AGP graphics card, but to be honest, I don't want to spend any money on getting a new one - all the nice ones I could fine were 40 euros or more .

Does one of you have an AGP card (similar to Geforce 6600GT or 7600GT) you don't need anyways? I don't mind if it's ATI or Nvidia. Of course I'll pay the shipping costs .

Think Craig got a few sent to him iirc, Not sure if they worked or not.

Yar, misplaced it. Fixed it now .

PR runs **** on a FX5200 (duh ), so wanted to see how well PR would run when I plugged in the 7600 again - even with the lines and such, you could still see things well enough to test it. After putting it in again, I noticed the lines were much less than before. So shook the card up a bit more and at this moment, the lines are gone .

Let's see how long this lasts...

Did a quick search on ebay germany...

The 6800gt goes from 1 (!) Euro (4,5 shipping) up to 35 euro..Most of them you can buy for 15-20 Euros..

i searched the completed auctions.

I got an 8800 GTS lying around somewhere.

..its late and I am tired...

The card is still working, but the lines on the screen sometimes return, so it's dying a slow death I guess. I'll look on eBay, the one place I haven't looked yet (only visited a load of NL-only sites).
