I double-click the PR icon, screen goes black for about 3 seconds and it seems that it's loading, then suddenly crashes to desktop with no error.
Tried running it as administrator, same thing. Re-installed BF2 and PR, same thing.
No idea what to do, since the last time I played with my previous install (1 month ago) it was working just fine.
My rig:
E6750 @ 2.66 Ghz (Dual core)
Nvidia 9800 GT
2 GB RAM

Wich OS? I suppose vista(Win7 as you said you run as admin....32/64 Bit?

How do you install PR ? You must First install BF2, then Patch 1.4, 1.5, Then PR 0.957 1,2,3, then Winter Pack.

Do you changed GFX drivers since the month you ran PR 0.957 ? Or change any other system configs?

Can you run it in Window-Modus? (search Forum)

Do you run the PR.exe or the PR 0.957 desktop icon?`

Is Bf2 running...and so on---

64 Bit.
Installed BF2 and PR properly.
I changed to a custom driver since then, will change to normal NVIDIA driver and see if that solves it.
Never heard of Window-Modus so I can't answer,will look what the hell it is

Re-installed drivers, no luck

I have Win 7 pro and some programs (like PR) require me to right-click and run as admin.

No biggy- Fallout and somtimes Civ 5 if steam is closed allready requires me to do so.

(somtimes I forget and just click on it and it works anyway other times it does the black screan thing and I have to run as admin)

Solved it, all I had to do was delete the BF2 folder from My Documents in C:. Goddammit why didn't I think of it before I wasted all the time re-installing the game and the mod . Eh, oh well, glad it works now at least

I was talking about the folder where your profiles and what-not are stocked in. Personally I have the game installed in the E: directory
