Like the title says, I don't know if this is actualy a bug, but you'll notice it;

-Get in a civi car
-Find a straight road with no obstacles (optional)
-Start the music
-Start riding and hold the shift-key for boost
-Now you'll notice that the pitch and playback speed are higher than normal
-????
-What has been heard, cannot be unheard :-x

If you reverse while playing music it will lower in pitch, the same applies to horns as well. It's only audible when you are outside the car though, and I've had quite a bit of fun with this bug.

What you are describing is called the doppler effect. Interesting to know that it is in game...but strange that the driver hears it. Cars must be traveling at the edge of the speed of sound for you to hear an increase of pitch if you are behind the wheel!

Can't be doppler effect as the vehicle is only moving 1-2 kmph.

Stand outside your clown car, get ur buddy to start the music and just every so slightly tab S. Listen to the pitch change, and observe how the car is moving mere inches to produce this effect. If you noticed the pitch raise itself I'm sure you will notice the pitch drop, horns are a lot easier to hear though.
