so I was out discovering on top of a mountain the other day and it came across me, do PR and James bond have any connotations? (keep in mind that James bond has a capitol J)

I was thinking about this a month ago. The James bond series and PR have gone hand in hand as far as development standards. I might add that they are both exquisite

We cannot overlook weapon and level design. James bond Goldeneye 64 caverns is very similar to some of the caves found in some PR levels. the runway map is almost identical to the runways found in PR, both are long and straight and sometimes protected by tanks and soldiers. Streets is also similar to some streets found in PR, from the buildings on the side of the road to the tanks patroling the streets trying to avoid enemy rocket launchers and mines.
timed mines were very much like the old SLAM mines incorporated into PR. James bond's KF7 soviet is also found in pr and does a great job at destroying the enemies. grenades and rocket launchers are found in both PR and James bond Goldeneye 64 and are very deadly and sought after by all players. What makes PR and James bond very similar is the Tanks. in both games they shoot large rounds that can blow up cars and enemy soldiers and in both PR and Goldeneye tanks have the ability to crush bad guys.
Overall these games are almost the same and should be applauded by everybody who enjoys realism and James bond.

One very important thing is still lacking for PR to have any connection to James Bond, the highlander, Sean Connery. How could you truly have a James Bond connection without any of the soldiers having his accent?

This lack of realism disappoints me.

I think we should replace all the HAT and LAT sounds with that of the high-pitched squeal of the rocket launcher from G64. Would put the shits up anyone haha

I think we need invisible cars, laser watches, cigarettes which are missiles, mini-subs, coffins with false bottoms, fake nipples (I know, right...) and exploding bola balls before PR and James Bond have a serious connection.

PR 0.8 and most Bond films had one thing in common... 10 guys could be firing at you but you could still dart from cover to cover without taking a hit

It is true that if you take a MEC officer, get him to take a pistol, and wait a while, he will perform a James bond 3p animation.
