Looking for a good VOIP service

Does anyone have any recommendations for a VOIP server service I can get for our PR server? Since it is unranked and hosted by GameServers, they won't support the VOIP on it. However...don't want to force our players to use Mumble or Teamsepak. Just something that I can rent and plug in the server ports to BF2CC and run a working VOIP for our COOP server.
Any suggestions to get this fully working would be greatly appreciated!
THANKS!
MK

There are tons of videos on Youtube for free Ventrilo servers, but for these you'll also need Hamachi I think. Give it a try.

just rent a real server not a gaming shit, they are anyway overpriced.
with an own server you are free to install or not install what you want.

but a real server costs alot more than what I have...just looking for VOIP so all the players can use it...don't want them to have to download Ventrilo or Mumble or TS...just need something that will work in VOIP for in-game voice

if the BF2 VOIP system isn't allowed by your server provider then they will have to use a 3rd party program
PR mumble is included in the latest installers so given that your clients installed it then they will have mumble.
though tbh given that the size of the installers of various 3rd party VIOP are so small there's no real reason why people who are serious about your community wouldn't download them if they were the main comms application

it costs 61€ at gameservers.com, a good root server with unlimited traffic starts with 25€ (you do not need to rent a real engine, a virtual one does it as well). i see the one and only reason why people carry their money to these expensive gameserver hoster is that they dont know (or dont want to know) how to administrate a root server with ssh and unix commands.
in this case you are doomed to pay a lot of money to the gameserver providers while switching to one that allows ingame voip
its quite simple, they denied the ingame voip, so you have to choose an external solution which means your players have to run an extra client for this.
