i have somehow completely forgotten this and am trying to remember everything before reedownloading (I still have the 0.91 files). Anyway when talking through VOIP, what is the difference between pressing B which is assigned to PUSH TO TALK, and V which is assigned to COM. CHANNEL

So really im asking what is the difference between PUSH TO TALK and COM. CHANNEL.

Also what button should i assign Mumble to.

thanks in advance

B is squad chat, talk to your squad. V is commander chat, how squad leaders and commanders talk to each other over ingame VOIP.

Can set mumble to w/e you like :)

Push to talk is for talking with your squad, "Com. channel" is short for commander channel, it's for squad leaders who wish to speak to the commander directly.

Assign mumble to anything you feel comfortable with, there's no wrong buttons for it (well, maybe you shouldn't put it on escape...)

Edit: But before he could speak, he was ninja'd by a rhino.

@Mumble: Basically you can use any key you want to. But you should not use the same key as using for "Push to talk". Because talking to your squad and at the same time on mumble can become quite spammy and annoying for the people that are in your squad and around you.

I like my keys setup I got for mumble.

I reassigned my commander radio to "," and then put my local mumble talk as "v".

B is for Squad talk, V is for the Squad leader to talk to the commander.
And for Mumble you can use your Windows Button:

I use for the SL channel PTT the Application button which is not found in all the keyboards.
