Some Screenshots Won't Save

The other day I had taken some screenshots that I was gunna use in Photoshop only to find out once I exited PR that they were not saved, I checked the screenshot folder, the BF2 folders, my images, elsewhere in my documents, and within my appdata but could not find them anywhere. Today I was going to take those shots again and before getting into a local server with my bud I tested it to see if they would save this time. They did. But to my dismay, once I took the shots I needed with my bud and exited PR, I found the shots had never made it into my screenshot folder. :-? :26_suicid
Any ideas what's going on???

I'm his bud, he doesn't want to use xfire because of the low res that comes from it.

Xfire saves a higher quality PNG locally which looks a lot better than the jpeg it uploads to the site.

And I'm not sure, but I think the free version of FRAPS have the screenshot function enabled.

BF2 saves a PNG and JPG as well. Although I'd love to get the native BF2 screen capture working again, I may look into free FRAPS, too bad I can't purchase it and will still have to use Xfire for videos. Even if I do decide to use FRAPS it would be great to figure this out since it's just weird and confusing....
Also, if I can't get it to work right is there a way to prevent BF2 from capturing when pressing print screen so that I can assign the FRAPS hotkey to there? If not what do you guys figure is the best key to assign it to?

Doesn't FRAPS also put a watermark on the image?
