[?] v0.87 Holiday map pack?

Hey guys,
I installed PR 0.87 and the holiday map pack (Helmands Return,Operation Outlaw) and I was wondering if i could move the map files into my latest Pr install, (0.95) would it work? I know some basic modding stuff like gpo and factions but I want to make sure I can do it.

I . . . Dont think it would work the way you expect because if im wrong there are some files that would make it incompadable. plus . . . . Why would you Want to do this? plus helmands return was an event map its basicly set up to only be played once ( Which was a Fun game btw ) but overall it was hard to advance even with vehicle support ANYWAY . . . i dont think it would work.

I guess you'd just need to update the init.cons with notepad, would probably mostly work unless an assets spawner name has changed.
where teh team stuff is should read according to the new conventions so that the teams assets will be loaded
e.g.
rem ------------------------------- LevelSettings -------------------------------
rem -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
run ../../Factions/faction_init.con 1 "mec"
run ../../Factions/faction_init.con 2 "gb"

You would probably just need to change the teams in the init.con.

You might also need to change the the names of the vehicles in the gameplayobjects.con files.
eg. the striker used to be called "usapc_stryker" in 0.85 and is now called "us_apc_stryker" in 0.95.

alright I edited the Init.con file and the gpo but it crashes at collision..? anyone know why?

Fields should be in staticobjects.con
Just open it in notepad and search for 'Object.isOvergrowth', and if that line is next to a name of a field then remove the 'Object.isOvergrowth 1' line.

fields can also be in a Field.con or Fields.con or how ever the mapper called it

I looked in there, and there's probably a thousand lines that say that.

I got Fallujah SP from 087 working in 095 for you.... what more do you want?
